Dear Caretakers,

Long time! My apologies for being a little quiet the past couple of months. Pre-production is officially in full swing, and things have been moving fast!

There is a lot happening behind the scenes right now as we prepare to film Fablehaven, but I wanted to share a few updates with you.

Hi Caretaker Council,

We are actively reaching out name talent, and we want know which actors your think would make the PERFECT Grandpa Sorenson, Grandma Sorenson, and Muriel? Who do you see in your head? Comment on this post and let us know!

Love,

Mendigo Maquette
4 months ago – Mon, Jun 01, 2026 at 11:18:28 AM

Hi Beautiful Fablehaven Backers,

As you may or may not know, in pre-production design/visualization, it is super helpful to create 3D renderings of characters. We went ahead and had a sculptor create the following maquette for Mendigo and wanted to see what you think!

The maquette was created with clay, but has been made to look like wood.
